Karate Grading

I haven’t wrote a post on karate in a while……………………

So yesterday I went to my Karate Grading! I was so excited yet nervous because I didn’t want to make a mistake in front of the master belts. I was in the first grading group (because I was one of the lower ranking belts and they start with the lower ranks and then they go up to the higher ranks) which made me even more nervous.  No one likes going first but no one likes going last either. The worst part about grading is sitting and watch other people grade. The best part is the end and hearing you name being called and walking up to the “black belt table” and shaking the master belts hands as you get you certificate and you new belt (I got a purple belt). Also watching other people do the same thing. I can’t wait to go to go back to karate as a purple belt and continue my karate journey.

What do I Need To Change About My Self In Order To Change The World

I think anyone can change the world. I just think to make a big impact you need to be patience.  You can do anything if you set your mind to it.

Like I said, I need to become more patient to change the world.

Speech! Speech! Speech!

I stink at writing speeches but, we had to write an 1-2 min inauguration speech. So here it is:

My Fellow Americans,

It is such an honor to be standing here before you today. 43 great American people stood in this very spot. 43 great people who contributed there time to make this nation grow and become more successful. I would like to thank President Bush for spending 8 years serving as our commander and chief. I also would like to thank my family and all of my supporters for supporting me every step of the way. Without you I would not be standing here right now.
There are many problems that we are currently facing in this beautiful country, including health care, the economy, the wars and the education crisis. I believe that we can solve these problems.

I have faith that we can fix these problems in my four years of office. Even thought I am not perfect, I have high hopes for these next for years. Thank you and God Bless America!

Lewis and Clark

At school we had to  to make a script for a Lewis and Clack Radio Show. This is what I had to say:

Hello and Welcome to mk news Reporting live are Katie and Meg the headlines include Purchasing Louisiana and the Lewis and Clark Expedition:
Napoleon and Louisiana
Today Napoleon Bonaparte troops invaded Saint Dominique. Former slave L’Ouverture and his troops rebelled against Napoleon. The French Forces failed to take over the Island. The troops are now moving into Louisiana. The French regained ownership of Louisiana area. The President fears that that the French will expand there territories and will interfere with the trade.
Purchasing the Territory
Today the French ambassador tried to purchase New Orleans and Florida from the French. The French agreed to sell all of Louisiana to the US for 15 Million Dollars. the nation doubled its size because of the Louisiana Purchase. This new region stretches west of the Mississippi. The President is really optimistic about this region. He says “It will provide a widespread field for the blessing of freedom”.

Buddies

I http://studentfriends.edublogs.org/

What do I look for in a friend???

  1. They have to be funny or have at least have a seance of humor.
  2. They have to be some what social.
  3. They can’t be a troublemaker or do bad things (like drugs)
  4. We have to have some of the same interest.

I look for these qualities.  Basically if these “guidelines” aren’t met there aren’t my friends.

What do I do with my friends??

I do normal teenage stuff with my friends like go to the mall, movies and hangout at my and my friends houses (and play rockband).

Why I’m I a good friend?

ummmmm…………………… I suppose i’m nice and funny.

Why am a good friend?

My Pet

My pet would be my dog George.  George is a Puggle (pug x beagle). His hair is a sandy color. He has black eyes. He is really hyper. When it snows he doesn’t walk on his back legs (it’s really wired). There’s not really a sad story that I could tell about him because he is still a puppy; but his former owners had to give him up because there apartment building did allow dogs.

(this isn’t George, but its a Puggle)

I Want A World That Is Happier

When someone is sad it’s like a disease; someone sees that your sad and then they become sad.

Happiness is like a disease to, when someone sees that your happy they become happy too.

What if everyone was happy more.

The world world would move smoother. There would be more peace, less homicides, less suicides, less bleeding, less….. well you get the point, the world would be much better.

Yes, we can’t eliminate all the violence. But if you do something as easy as say hi to someone that you normally wouldn’t talk to you could make that person happier.

So that’s my relsolution to say hi to someone that I normally don’t talk to.
